	I am doing a research project at school. We each picked one person we wanted to research and checked out a book about them. We wil write reports on them in 3 weeks. The person I chose was named Dian Fossey. She was a zoologist who traveled to Africa and studied the mountain gorillas. She is very interesting. So if you want to learn about her check out a book about her. You'll learn a lot!

Today was a really tough day. his morning, I noticed my 3 "friends" whispering together. I saw that D.T was glancing my way many times, and it was not a friendly look. So then this afternoon, my classmate asked if there was any art homework. I said there wasn't. D said we had to finish making the gingerbread design. I told her that some people hadn't finish yet. She said in this mean way, "Well, too bad for them." And then while we were walking home from school, I was sure that if I left, D would start talking to M about me. And then, I followed them, and I was sure I heard her say my name, even though I only followed them for half a minute. Sometimes, I feel like they're way closer than me.
